Masters Piano has been in business for 4 generations. As you can see by our pictures, this is truly a family tradition of the highest level of craftsmanship passed down generation by generation. We are from the school of the "Old Masters" restoring pianos by hand, ensuring that they become again, true works of art with exquisite tone, appearance and beauty. Jose Miguel Ledda in Buenos Aires founded Master's Piano Restoration in 1938. The business was first established as Casa Ledda. In 1960 the daughter of Mr. Ledda, Nelida, married a piano technician by the name of Jorge Tarque. They had three children, Alejandro (Alex), Carlos and Daniel. In 1973 Alex and Carlos joined in their father and grandfather's trade with the opening of Atiqua Casa Ledda. By 1978 they had grown to three family business locations in Buenos Aries. The family had now become famous for their quality, efficiency and the finest craftsmanship in repairs and restoration of both new and old pianos.

In 1980 the family migrated to the United States where they established Master's Piano Restoration. The high quality of their technical skills in the grand craft of repair and restoration brings the original majesty back to some of the world's most cherished instruments of music. Each piano's life is returned to it, so as to continue the journey through time in the grandeur of the masters.

Mr. Jose Miguel Ledda is retired but continues in the family business, supervising with the utmost quality.

Master's Piano Restoration signifies the two names of Ledda and Tarque, which means a gold seal in handcraft experience.
